Why do I believe in the veracity and poignance of The Bible? If you read this book, you will know that I believe that all of the Bible is to be read and studied, even pondered. The Bible may be mined, as it were, for the information, encouragement and wisdom that it contains on every page, as well as for its ability to heal us emotionally and to bring us closer to God. To anyone who reads the Bible on a regular basis, in a systematic way, it becomes apparent, early on, that the people, events and situations that we find in the Bible mirror those in the world that we live in today. The Bible was designed to feed our spirit, on different levels, at different times. It is impossible to be reading the Bible every moment. Because of this, we need to let the Bible feed our spirit every day, at some time. The time of day is not as important as the fact that we block out some time every day to prayerfully read the Bible, and let the words speak to us. Getting the word of God down on the inside, where our spirit- man/woman lives, is crucial to our being able to meet all of life's challenges, obstacles and set-backs, (Psalm 119:11; Romans 10:17). All of us, know from our own experience, that we are faced with decisions and dilemmas that come, one-right-after-another. Having the Bible's words of wisdom, encouragement and assurance, will prove to be just what we need, when we need it, (John 14:26) J.D.M. - "Not your average daily devotional by a longshot This is a daily power-packed Spiritual-reality drama with enlightening insight that will take you, or your group, to heights never experienced before "- Ken Parsons www.warzonewinner.com
