Loosely based on his father's life, this is the story of two
brothers growing up in North London during the 1930's. the Sutton
Brothers were determined to escape the poverty and injustices of
Tottenham. Jack looked to the Communist Party to bring the
Revolution. That gave him a love, friends and a cause worth dying
for. Tommy was older and smarter. He looked at the people with the
money and wanted his share. He thought he could take what he wanted
and have the beautiful women, sports cars and the fashionable
clothes that his heroes had. Both found that their dreams crumbled
into the dust of the Aragon. They learned what their father never
told them about the true nature of war. Limping home as beaten men
they had to learn to how to rebuild their lives on the ruins of the
Spanish Civil War.
