"Jack and Jaquelyn" (J&J) is an intimate relationship memoir about a mature couple told in a story form. The narrative follows Jack and Jaquelyn during the decade of their seventies, through an initiatory near-death experience into a deepening exploration of intimacy as a path of awakening. To round out the story there are flashbacks to earlier adventures of struggle and accomplishment. The book describes the possibilities of mature intimate love, the ultimate inseparability of sexuality and spirituality, the connection between sexuality and healing, and ways to embrace the mystery of death through sexual intimacy.
