Jenny Deane has had her work read on the radio but this is her
first collection of poems. They are sharp observations of the world
around us and the way we lead our everyday lives. Some pose
difficult questions, encouraging us to go deeper, to revise our
opinions. To think again. Others are about love and loss, sadness
and joy, nature and the natural world. Occasionally they may make
us laugh out loud. Thoughtful and insightful, often emotional, all
are a recognition of Jenny's light touch and instinctive sense of
balance.
