After attending a writer's conference, Jessica decides to stay on
in New Orleans for a jazz festival. Her friend, music critic Wayne
Copley, offers to take her to the festival while he searches for
the fabled recordings of a jazz legend. But Jessica's jazz lesson
and Wayne's search are cut short when he turns up dead next to a
voodoo queen's grave. When the cops declare his death "accidental",
Jessica must prove it was murder.
