Aean and Sara are bound 3 times in the prophecy of the Darkening,
the embodiment of evil. Each bonding carries with it a requirement
that must be filled but until they can fulfill those requirements
Aean is slowly being driven insane causing his magic to get further
and further out of control. Complicating matters is a rogue duke
who has overthrown Sara's father, King Shaddig. The pair must
reclaim the throne and find a way to stop the designs of the
Darkening and something far more difficult still but can they do
the seemingly impossible before they themselves end up destroying
the world of Mer.
