4ths, a practice routine for jazz songs, guidelines for creating
Chord Melodies, root position chords in the Major, Minor and
Dominant families and triad and extended chord inversions. The
third section contains patterns for practicing the various scales
and arpeggios, riffs and patterns for ii V I progressions, ear
training exercises, and sections on modulations, alternate tunings,
