In Healthcare Environmental Services, first impressions of your
facility are very important to patients, family and staff, and you
need to strive daily to provide a clean, safe and attractive
environment. It is essential that that patient rooms are cleaned to
the highest level to prevent cross contamination. The hospital
staff and patients depend on this to do their job with excellence.
With cleanliness as a prime concern and a clean and safe
environment our overriding desire, I wrote this book, the first in
a series, to serve as a primer for the successful healthcare
environmental services department.
