Cyborgs are enigmas. Living, yet not living. Living tissue over
robotic functions. Almost indistinguishable from a human being.
Supposedly without emotions or human desires. They follow orders
without questions. But Talon does not fit those parameters all of
the time. In the beginning, Talon enjoys many of his missions, but
that soon changes. The simple human desire not to be alone becomes
almost overwhelming. The government wants him to commit to a deep
space mission, which may take years to complete. Technology becomes
available to travel at near light speed, so the space mission will
not take as long as initially expected. But, will such extended
space travel interfere with seeing his children grow and mature and
with having a relationship? Only time will tell.
