Then, the book explains which are the phases and the projects of the experiment, which consists of building a green city. The world is in crisis, so I guess we just have to reinvent it, to dream it all over again. History has taught us that civilisations are born, have an apogee phase and then they decay. The West seems to be in this latter phase. It is not my intention to deny the advances of the West, but it is time for a change. We are stuck culturally, and the only way to reactivate our potential and imagination is to follow a different path. Even if we are in a dead-end now, we have the foundation that may precede a powerful civilisation developed up to be a space civilisation. It is a matter of not getting attached blindly to the current model, and of not drowning possibilities of development that are more efficient."
