Man of the West (DVD)

Western adaptation starring Gary Cooper and directed by Anthony Mann. When the train he is on gets robbed, reformed outlaw Link Jones (Cooper) finds himself unwillingly reunited with his old gang. Left wounded with only a gambler (Arthur O'Connell) and a singer (Julie London) for company, Link is forced to seek out nearby relatives who he abandoned to renounce his criminal ways. But after being begrudgingly reintegrated into the band of outlaws, the group decide to use the others' presence to realise a long held ambition of holding up a local bank.
