Lamina is part two of three books where two television journalists
interview 100-year old Jonara Pindus, the mother of female-couple
fertility, to discover what led Jonara to her profession. Jonara
continues the story from her thirteenth birthday where she goes
back in time to witness many layers of ancestral history starting
with her mother's detention in Portland and adding various places
from 1939 to 1970 including Spain, Wisconsin, Greece, Pacific
Ocean, Alabama, Africa, Palestine, Texas, New Zealand, and Vietnam.
