Starting where After Invasion: Survivors left off, James, a self
stylized leader of a small band of scouts, witnessed an alien
invader's ship explode and crash into a nearby forest. He enlists
the help of his friend, Owen, a drifter, to investigate the downed
craft and discover the Greys agenda only they find something much
worse and barely escape the ship alive. Witnessing the Greys minor
defeat, James finds hope where there was none before, and forms a
resistance group to save what remains of Earth and its inhabitants.
