Kenko DGX MC 2X Converter For Sony AF

Placed between the camera body and lens, the Kenko TelePlus MC4 AF 2.0X DGX teleconverter contains a set of optics that effectively increases the focal length of any lens with which it is used by 2x—turning a 300mm lens into an equivalent 600mm lens—while cutting back the amount of light by 4x (2 f/stops). Featuring a 4-element, 4-group optical design with multicoated lens elements supplied by Hoya Corporation and genuine Gate Array IC for full electronic communication, it ensures sharp, high-contrast images and accurate EXIF data recording.

Full AF operation is possible with lenses having open apertures of f/2.8 or brighter, subject to sufficient light and contrast.
