Kingston let me down this time

Bought one of these to use in the car and for transferring data from my USB3.0 laptop. The first one just stopped working and Loot was kind enough to exchange it. Now the second one has only been in use for a week, but: 1) Very slow write speeds; 2) Gets hot when plugged into the PC. Kingston is usually top notch, but avoid this model.
