This timely new workbook is the result of a year-long effort by a
group of university professors who first met a Montana Tech during
the summer of 1994 for a college faculty workshop. The workshop was
funded by the National Science Foundation's Undergraduate Faculty
Enhancement Program, and its purpose was to develop a workbook that
would provide the needed support for those faculty developing
courses in the newly emerging field of air toxics. Part 1 contains
more than 100 problems dealing with a variety of topics in this
area. Part 2 provides detailed solutions. The problems and
solutions provided will become a useful resource for training
engineers and scientists who are, or soon will be, working in the
field.
