1914. In addition to The Blythe Girls Series, Hope was the
pseudonym of the writer of The Six Little Bunkers, The Bobbsey
Twins, The Bunny Brown and The Outdoor Girl series published by the
Stratemeyer Syndicate. The Moving Picture Girls, another of her
series, is about the adventures of Ruth and Alice DeVere. Their
father, a widower, is an actor who has taken up work for the
movies. Both girls wish to aid him in his work and visit various
localities to act in all sorts of pictures. This book is full of
fun in the country, the haps and mishaps of taking film plays, and
