Under Suspicion (DVD)

Tony Aaron is a disgraced ex-cop who now makes a living as a private eye setting up fake adultery cases with the help of his wife Hazel.

One day, Aaron bursts into a hotel room to find Hazel and their client, a famous American painter, murdered; the painter's body mutilated, and his thumb, with which he signed his paintings, cut off and missing. Two lead suspects are brought to the fore: the painter's widow and his mistress Angeline. Tony soon falls in love with Angeline but the investigation is turned on it's head when it appears the victims were murdered with Tony's gun.

Now Aaron has to clear his name and find the person responsible for murdering his wife.
