Good sized sturdy container (a bit larger than a standard 18 egg cardboard carton). Easily fits extra large eggs. Containers can be stacked (I have two). My only issue is that the container is definitely not airtight or liquid tight as stated on some other websites (I think the older model of this container might have been airtight) because the container has little holes in the bottom in between the egg cavities which I suppose is so that the eggs can breath and prevent moisture build up.
