As a way to take on abstraction with photography, Michael Flomen
leaves behind the camera and embraces his light-sensitive
materials. Elements such as water, the light emitted from
fireflies, wind, rain, and other natural phenomena are emblematic
of his work. Collaborating with nature, Flomen creates monumental
photograms, revealing things we cannot see with the naked eye. The
