Finding your worth - in being a Woman

This is a book every woman should read! – No of matter what your convictions are!! Before you close this review though, please, think on this: “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” (Aristotle - Greek critic, philosopher & physicist – 348BC-322BC) So you can read this book, accept what is written, or not, but read it - for your own sake - before rejecting it purely for its title! I really want to encourage, but also challenge, every woman who has never thought herself to be of any worth, to find her true identity in reading this book! Discover here who you really are, and always have been, since the beginning of time, before the advent of patriarchal dominance so prevalent in all its diverse misogynistic forms today. Do not be afraid to pick up this book and read of our origin; what our ancestors were like, their strengths, their intelligence, their diverse creative talents, what they learned from the Mother Goddess and Nature, what they did, what they made, how they taught, and the matriarchal peace and harmony they created where all, humans and the animal kingdom, were safe and happy, which was their life-style and legacy. But sadly, this took place before the avaricious patriarchal take-over. Maybe you will come to some passages you may think you cannot agree with, remember the above quote and read through it anyway; give yourself time to understand what is being said; take what is significant for you now and let the rest lie for as long as you need. There is much to absorb especially if you have been “conditioned” and “brain-washed” to believe only what is acceptable in our patriarchal societies today! This book will challenge you to re-evaluate what you have been taught, how you should view yourself, and your place as woman in this world. What I found in the pages of this book is the culmination of what TRUTH really is! I have been searching for TRUTH all my 66 years of life, and argued so many times that the misery and pain this world has to offer in whatever “Name” man may want us to believe in, just could not be why we were born to live!! I knew there had to be something deeper, more connected to the Earth and Nature and the Universe than what was being offered by all the patriarchal teachings, whatever they may be, and which has brought so much pain, shame, and utter denial of the worth in being a woman. Please, I say again, don’t be afraid to read this book - it will be the most amazing journey you will ever go on!! Toni
