community of Key Largo, Biscayne National Park occupies 173,000
acres of diverse and dramatic natural and cultural resources and
attracts 500,000 persons each year. This volume provides a general
description of its social and cultural context and discussed
current user groups and their activities in the park. The National
Park Service is the U.S. federal agency that manages all national
parks, many national monuments, and other conservation and
historical properties with various title designations.
