Erotica cuenta la historia del islote Thamacun, nacion secreta
invadida y arrasada en 1960 por la vecina Cuba. Paralelamente, ya
en el presente, la novela describe el exodo desatado por dicha
invasion y el resurgimiento en Internet de la cultura thamacunesa.
Un resurgimiento que, sin embargo, se ve amenazado por la
manipulacion ultranacionalista o puntoCON. Asi, Idamanda, el
personaje protagonico, debe enfrentar el avance colectivista en el
ciberespacio -Cumberland, Playa Hedonica- e incluso en tierra firme
-Estados Unidos-, oponiendo a esta nueva invasion el espiritu del
Gran Salto Adelante.
