I don't think anyone every "reads" a book like this all the way through; however, from the bits I explored it was very helpful. Learning openings can be tough, because of the sheer volume of possibilities, so MCO allows one to narrow down what openings to try. I, for one, don't understand all the reasons certain lines make sense, but at least it gets you going in the right direction.
