This story is about a penguin that lives at the North Pole and ends
up in Manhattan after playing a game of hide and seek with his
friend. Thanksgiving has just passed and Aunt Maria needs to do
some errands before she returns to work. She has to do laundry and
buy some groceries at the market She decides to buy herself some
fish for dinner. On her way to the laundry room she notices a
striped scarf stuck in the e1evdor door. She takes the scarf and
goes back to her apartment. She hears a knock at the door. A
penguin that talks is at her door and asks her if she has seen his
scarf. Aunt Maria tells him she found it in the elevator ad he then
lets himself into her apartment. She looks, for him and discovers
that he is in her bubble bath. They talk and he is says he is bored
so Aunt Maria decides to show him around Manhattan. Together they
visit many New York sites. Although he is enjoying himself the
penguin realizes that he must return to the North Pole. Aunt Maria
hopes that she will see her friend again.
