This is an excellent place to start on the journey of reading stories as a way of learning a foreign language. This is Olly Richard's collection for beginners. this is where I started in my endeavor to move my schoolboy French of more than 50 years ago to a level where I can converse with reasonable fluency, albeit it not entirely error free, this is indispensable material and a pleasure to read. I think Olly Richards is right - this is a very good way of improving language skills. I read the stories aloud to practise pronunciation and reread them several times.
