Director's Cut makes it one of the Great Epics!

Originally the film's theatrical release was disappointing. Especially taking into account Ridley Scott's great films. However, this version is about 20-30 minutes longer with scenes changing in its original chronology. It really builds up and adds a deeper narrative in the story. The cast is excellent, amazing battle scenes and a beautiful film score.
