The Bristol Medico-Historical Society are pleased to announce the
publication of their seventh volume of proceedings. This covers a
large variety of topics ranging from Medical Fraud to X-ray
pioneers, Childbed Fever to Old Age Pensions, Inebriety to Royal
Operations. The contributors are experts in their field and include
doctors, dentists, professors and medical physicists. The society
was set up in 1986 by Prof John Clamp and Mr Michael Wilson. It is
dedicated to the research and discussion of all aspects of medical
history.
