About the book...It is without question that sexual abuse is endemic, in our homes, schools, prisons, the military and religious institutions. Every abuse victim is left with residues - psychological, sexual, emotional and physical scars. Freedom from the past is a choice. This book deals with the steps to freedom - forgiveness, repentance, and counseling. In this book are many concrete examples of individuals who were healed of the horrors of incest and rape and found the freedom they deserved. Read to be delivered. Read to heal. Read to be informed. It is a must for all ministries.About the Author...FAY ELLIS BUTLER is a warrior for God, giving up no ground to the enemy of God, Satan. One of her areas of ministry is to write for the Body of Christ from revelation knowledge as well as her experience in ministry. Fay ministers in workshops, lectures, revivals and conventions. She is a lifelong member of the Church of God in Christ and married to an attorney/ pastor. She has seven children, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Three sons and one daughter are preachers (two of the sons are pastors). While all of her children have professional careers, her greatest happiness is that they love God, and serve Him without reservation.Educated in the public schools of New York City, Fay attended and was graduated from Bellevue/NYU Nursing School, Queens College and Columbia University. Her highest degree among many is a PH.D. in Medical Anthropology. She has travelled extensively as a missionary/evangelist - Brazil, Guyana, The Philippines, Africa, Jamaica and throughout the United States including Alaska. Her favorite motto is "I will not fail God and I will not fail myself." Her favorite scripture is "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 4:13).
