This is a pretty powerful unit at 1440W. It would have solved many issues for me. However, the noise rating is listed at 40DB, (Library, bird calls (44 dB); lowest limit of urban ambient sound) but is way beyond that.
I understand that at this output rating, cooling is critical, but I cannot hear the 'warning beeps above the fan racket when switched to UPS.
I am unable to assess the item as I repacked it immediately for return.
