Refreshingly hopeful

Into the supposed Eeyore-ish horror story of Christianity in the contemporary world, or at least certain parts of it, Pippert’s Stay Salt (2020) is refreshingly hopeful. A book on witnessing and evangelism, one of her major points is: “Evangelism is still easier than we think and harder than we imagine: it is both exciting and deadly serious.” (p. 36) That nuance, realistically hopeful, appeals to me.
