'Jess and the Magic Wishing Well' is the second book in 'The Jess
Mystery Series' for children aged 7 years and older. Jess and Ruby
are best friends in Class Three at 'Oakhill Primary School'. When
the girls discover an old well in the school grounds, they think
that it's a magic wishing well and they have to test its powers.
Joe and the twins, Lucy and Tom, warn the girls that they will get
into trouble. Jess and Ruby make several magic wishes and strange
things start to happen. When the end of term tests disappear and
someone vanishes, they wonder what they have done. After more magic
wishes, the school is broken into and the head teacher has to close
the school. Will the school open again? Will there be anymore
magic?
