Set in 1965, the show follows Endeavour Morse in his younger years as a police constable. Working alongside his senior partner Detective Inspector Fred Thursday and PC James Strange, Morse engages in a number of investigations around Oxford, England.

This collection also includes the feature-length pilot episode in which Morse investigates the murder of a 15-year-old girl and her boyfriend's suspected suicide.
