A young woman (Barbara Hershey) is continuosly attacked and raped
by a demonic invisible entity and no one believes her. She is
referred to a psychiatrist who thinks it's all in her mind, but
some parapsychologists manage to isolate the creature. Based on
events which were alleged to have taken place in California in
October 1976.
