Homocysteine Lowering Formula contains a combination of bioidentical vitamins, folate, inositol and zinc important in the methylation cycle. The methylation cycle in cells is responsible for converting homocysteine (naturally produced by the body) to methionine. High levels of homocysteine are associated with increased risks of neurological and heart disease.

The product is contraindicated for individuals with pernicious anemia. Folic acid can mask pernicious anemia by decreasing megaloblastic anemia. This can prevent appropriate treatment with vitamin B12 and result in neurological damage.
Individuals with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) consult with a medical practitioner before taking this product.
