Olive leaf contains an antioxidant known as oleuropein which has antibacterial, antiviral and antiparasitic effects. Oleuropein is also useful in the management of metabolic syndrome, also known as syndrome X, characterised by high blood sugar, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and weight gain.

Safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established, do not use. Antidiabetes medicines: Theoretically, concurrent use of olive leaf extract may have blood glucose lowering effects. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Some antidiabetes medicines include glimepiride, glyburide, insulin, pioglitazone, rosiglitazone and others.
Antihypertensive medicines: Theoretically concomitant use with olive leaf may enhance blood pressure-lowering effects.

Use Instructions: |
Adults and children over 12 years of age: Take 1-2 capsules twice daily or as recommended by a health care provider. This dose can be doubled for acute infections.
Children 7-12 years of age: Take 1 capsule once or twice daily. Take with meals.
