We're pleased to report that long-time friend of Speakeasy, Steve
Allen, has just had his first poetry collection published Called
Tasting The Fruit, the 70-page book ranges across Steve's styles
that many of us are familiar with: love with a sensitive touch,
travel with a warped humour twist, and a penchant for the
risque.Having had many poems published individually, and success in
poetry competitions, including first prize in our annual
competition, Steve's next step was to hit the streets with a
collection. In summer 2009, he was a winner of Indigo Dreams
Publishing competition, the prize being publication of Tasting The
Fruit."
