Good book, a few shortages.

The book is a bit of a heffer to carry around (~1000 pages). Content-wise, so far I'm satisfied. I was a bit disappointed that the publisher did not include an accompanying DVD with the needed softwares and tutorials, so be ready to download about 7 gigs on the side.
Overall, it's what it's meant to be.
