This recording was recorded on May 9, 2007 in Nashville, Tennessee
the night before the Blues Music Association presented Tab Benoit
with awards of the B.B. King Entertainer Of The Year and Best
Contemporary Male Performer of 2006. Produced by David Z (Prince,
Etta James) Tab is backed by Louisiana's Leroux who together were
nominated for a Grammy Award for Tab's previous Telarc release
'Brother To The Blues'. Tab and Leroux are joined on stage by Jimmy
Hall of Wet Willie, the Fabulous Thunderbird's Kim Wilson,
Americana country performer Jim Lauderdale, harmonica and accordion
player Jumpin' Johnny Sansone and Louisiana fiddler Waylon
Thibodeaux. This recording captures Tab Benoit live on stage for an
all-star jam session at a pinnacle moment in time that begins the
prime years of Benoit's career.
