This sixth season with the ladies of Wisteria Lane is as exciting as always. Things are much more serious though, with new neighbours the Boleyns seemingly on the run from a sinister threat in New York.

Also, the bodies of dead women start piling up in Fairview and the suspect might be someone in the neighbourhood. Once Susan's daughter gets attacked at the start of the season it sets the tone for a gripping mystery that actually reaches a satisfying conclusion at the end.

There's no cliffhanger at the end, unlike previous seasons though. But there is a huge surprise from a former main character in the very final scene that will keep us excited to see season 7. (5 out of 5, by Carlisle Johnson)
