The Tintoretto Thierry Duval Watercolour Brush Set features four brushes carefully developed and designed in collaboration with the French watercolour artist Thierry Duval. Duval states that over his long career he often dreamt of the perfect tools for his precise and realistic paintings of Paris and Venice. After many tests and prototypes Duval and Tintoretto have produced four unique watercolour brushes that are elegant and excellent quality.The TD01 Extra Bristle with its strong but forgiving bristles can be used for scrubbing techniques and is perfect for recovering the paper’s whiteness or creating soft shades and light spots.The TD02 and TD03 Emerald Synthetics use a special fibre with high elasticity, excellent brush tip control and good colour retention. Colour is released uniformly, even when painting on a large surface, without constantly returning to the palette.The TD04 Thin Synthetic is the ideal brush for wash techniques and nuanced backgrounds.
