Tommy Lee Jones and Ashley Judd star in this truly great thriller/drama which is probably about the best example of its type we’ve seen for many years.

Nick Parsons and his young wife Libby borrow a friend’s yacht for a weekend’s cruise. When she awakes one morning, Libby discovers Nick to be missing, and she has blood on her hands that she cannot account for. Her husband’s body is found, and she is jailed for his murder – but not before persuading her best friend, Angela Green (whom we somehow don’t like, right from the beginning) to adopt her four-year-old, Matty.

Tommy Lee Jones, as Travis Lehman, is Ashley's parole officer – but she breaks parole when it would seem that Nick is not really dead, but still very much alive and living under the assumed name of John Deveraux… or is this his real name…?

If you really like a good movie, you’ll be doing yourself a disservice by missing this one!

Libby Parsons (Ashley Judd) is a woman wrongly convicted for murdering her husband (Bruce Greenwood). When she finds out that her husband is alive and well and had staged his 'death' in order to frame her, she vows revenge. Released on early parole, she skips town and goes out in search of him, causing her parole officer (Tommy Lee Jones) to go on her trail.
