Almost made the same mistake

At first glance, this looks exactly like a device which converts a VGA output device into an HDMI output signal. Fortunately the review by "Franz-David S" got me to read the description more carefully. This device converts an HDMI signal to a VGA output. So to clarify, if the device you are using has an HDMI output, but the screen or projector you are using only has a VGA input, this is what you're looking for. It's actually a very useful device, just not what most people are looking for when they see it in this particular gender orientation.
