Wie kann die Theorie der positiven Generalpravention im Bereich des Strassenverkehrsrechts seine Rechtfertigung gewinnen? Um diese Frage zu beantworten, untersucht diese Arbeit zunachst die normative Begrundung der Theorie der positiven Generalpravention und die gegenwartige gesetzliche Situation des Verkehrsrechts. Dabei werden unterschiedliche Formen fur die Normverinnerlichung im Strassenverkehr aufgezeigt. Anschliessend wird Stellung zu der Frage genommen, ob die Entkriminalisierung die bessere Loesung fur die positive Generalpravention ist, und es wird die postmoderne Tendenz des Verkehrsrechts im Lichte der Theorie der positiven Generalpravention diskutiert. Zum Abschluss der Arbeit folgen die Leitsatze fur eine positiv-generalpraventive Rechtspolitik im Strassenverkehr.
