The Nitestar range has just got better. The Vango Nitestar Alpha 250S sleeping bag now features Vango’s Alpha insulation combining excellent warmth properties with much-improved compressibility, making it is smaller and lighter than ever before. It offers the same great combination of performance and quality at excellent value as the Nitestar Alpha 250, but in a shorter form that’s suited to the smaller framed adventurer. This 3 season mummy-shaped sleeping bag has been recommended by the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme in the UK for use on their expeditions.

The Nitestar’s off-set double layer construction staggers seam placement to prevent cold spots at the stitching lines for extra warmth. The Insulite Alpha insulation is lightweight and extra warm, offering great loft while compressing to a small pack size. The outer of the Nitestar is made from diamond embossed Polair polyester for a strong, lightweight shell, whilst the lining is a slightly brushed, soft to the touch polyester microfibre lining fabric that is wonderfully cosy, snug and breathable.

Insulated zip and shoulder baffles help to prevent draughts whilst the hood prevents heat loss from the head and remains comfortable. Your feet aren’t forgotten either – the Vango Warm Feet fleece lined footer offers additional comfort and warmth. Add to the package two way auto lock zips, anti catch zip guards, an internal pocket and a 4 way compression stuff sack and the Vango Nitestar Alpha 250S is a highly capable sleeping bag for your adventures.

- Grab Loops – To aid zip movement. Hold loop when moving zip
- Woven Zip Puller – Allows quick and easy operation of the zip

- Mummy-Shaped Sleeping Bag – Tapers from the shoulders to the foot. Reduces packsize and increases thermal efficiency
