In Victorian England, George Muller daily prayed and relied upon
the Lord alone to provide the food, clothing, and shelter for the
thousands of children in his orphanage. This book is a collection
of his sermons. Covering such topics as "The Twenty-Third Psalm"
and "Trust in the Lord," the reader is enriched with practical
words of comfort and encouragement. Muller shows the depth of the
love of God, he implores people to accept that love and
forgiveness, and he exhorts the believer to walk in His light. The
sermons also recall the proof of God's care for His people as
Muller shares many of the answers to prayers he received over the
years. At the same time, we gain a closer look at the man whose
relationship with God sustained him through the most challenging
times and encouraged him to trust his Lord in every situation.
