Throughout her life, Virginia Woolf worked and reworked short story
ideas, trying to enacapsulate her thoughts perfectly in a concise
form, but rarely did she publish them. This volume brings together
the stories from her own collection 'Monday or Tuesday', together
with stories that later appeared indivdually in magazines and those
from amongst her papers that her widower, Leonard, thought
sufficiently polished to put before her readers.
