A road is all we have. This road is an intricate network of twists
and turns upon which we make our journey through life. My road is
crimson. It is with love and warmth, then blood and agony. It is a
rose, yet then an agonizing fire. In plain words, this book is one
of an inspirational journey of a boy overcoming his suicidal
tendencies. Furthermore, this book is a giant poetic narrative
composed of individual poems. The book is designed specifically so
that the poems have value in themselves, but when read in order,
tell another interesting story. That story is the inner
machinations and intricacies of my mind as I journey toward hope.
In doing this, the book has poetic and psychological value.
Regardless of all the complex structure and meaning, though, just
give me a chance. I will show you a story of a boy who almost
didn't make it, but overcame his suicidal endeavor and lives to
write about it. I will inspire you to see the silver lining in life
and to always follow your heart. I will emphasize things you may
take for granted in your life so that you might appreciate every
little bit of it. Read this book thoughtfully, and I assure you
that it will be an experience that you will never forget.
