The Winsor & Newton Professional Canvas Range offers high quality traditional and smooth cotton canvasses. Stretched by hand, each acid-free, archival canvas is primed with highly pigmented titanium dioxide Gesso. The archival cloths give balanced absorbency and tooth which gives improved adhesion and responsiveness to every brushstroke. Only available with the Professional Canvas Range (except for the smaller sizes) is Winsor & Newton's innovative pro-stretcher™ device which makes achieving the perfect tension easy. Simply insert one pro-stretcher™ into each of the canvas' corners and using a screwdriver, adjust each of the devices in the two opposite corners first, following the directions of the arrows on the pro-stretcher™. Then adjust the following two in the same way. The frames are professionally constructed, crafted from kiln-dried solid pine wood, the stretcher bars are rigorously tested for warp resistance. The Professional Range also has an archiving label added which means you can record key details of your work. For use with acrylic and oil paints. This is a traditional medium texture cotton canvas and is 20x24in in size.
