Multi-antenna techniques are currently an extremely active area of research in wireless communications. They are widely considered to be the most promising avenue for significantly increasing the bandwidth efficiency of wireless data transmission systems and this exceptional volume presents their key aspects. MIMO and MISO (transmit diversity) techniques are explained in a common setting, in a clear and concise manner, and special emphasis is placed on combining theoretical understanding with engineering applicability.
